Three characteristics in Business field
Point1 Learn the specialized knowledge required in the business on-site that transcends the boundaries between the liberal arts and sciences
Learn specialized knowledge and skills such as marketing and organizational theory, which are essential to the management of a company, the basics of statistics and data analysis, and the economic theory necessary for business proposals.
Point2 Discovering and solving local and global issues through classroom lectures and fieldwork
You will visit actual business sites to study solutions to issues and needs discovered there, and broaden their perspectives through work experience at companies in Japan and overseas.
Point3 Training in problem exploration and solution skills and business execution skills in small group seminars
Junior and Senior belong to small-group seminars to deepen their interests and themes under the guidance of specialized faculty members. Through group study in which students repeatedly conduct research and make presentations, they will enhance their ability to discover and solve local issues.

- Business ICT Applying Information Technology to Business
Acquire specialized knowledge that leads to career development by learning the relationship between business and ICT and IoT. - Social Business Theory Solving social issues with business methods
Learn how to address regional issues such as poverty and environmental problems by utilizing business methods in cooperation with various entities such as companies, NPOs, and residents. - Sophomore Seminar/2nd grade seminar Project-based learning in collaboration with local industries
Deepen their practical learning through problem-solving learning in collaboration with industry and academia. For example, staff from professional sports companies serve as lecturers and students make proposals for problem-solving in class. - Junior Seminar/ 3rd grade seminar Tourism Business and Information Transmission
In a collaborative project with a tourism association, students find the good points of Japan, and disseminate their findings in multiple languages on SNS. You will visit Kyoto, Kanazawa, and other cities and work with local industry leaders to develop frontline tourism businesses.
Global Communication field
Aiming to be a global talent with multi language skills, cross-cultural and multi-cultural understanding, and with problem-solving skills.
Three characteristics in Global Communication field
Point1 Training in language and communication skills appropriate for the global human resources required by the times
English as the world Linga franca, Chinese as a largest number of first language speakers in the world, and Korean which is rapidly increasing in number of learners. In the global communication major, you will acquire the language skills to accurately convey their ideas and information to others and negotiate in these languages, as well as the ability to communicate across different value systems.
Point2 Comprehensive study of the society, politics, economy, and history of countries and regions around the world
Language is not the only thing you learn in the global communication field. Comprehensive study of the society, politics, economy, history, and culture (art, religion, literature, film, etc.) of a country or region will enable you to understand the world from multiple perspectives. In order to become a global human resource, students will deepen your knowledge and education about world affairs and various countries and regions.
Point3 Acquire practical communication skills through learning opportunities abroad.
Once you have acquired the language skills necessary to communicate with others, we encourage you to participate in study abroad and training programs. You can choose a program according to your interests and future career plans. Expand your horizons and knowledge by going abroad and improve your practical communication skills.

Building a trusting relationship with others is very important in cross-cultural communication. Experience the difficulties and joys of communication in an environment where you study together with international students. - Area Studies Learn in depth about various countries and regional problems in the world
In the Area Studies courses, you study the social problems, political and economic systems, arts, religions, and other cultures of countries and regions in the United States, Europe, China, Korea, and Southeast Asia through lectures and seminar. - Global Studies Deepen understanding of the historical and social issues of migration
Why people leave their familiar places of residence? What kind of life awaits them in the place to which they migrate? Understand the historical and social issues of migration as they relate to key terms in international sociology such as ethnicity, class, and gender. - CLIL Learn about history, music and art in English
Study the history, music, and art of English-speaking countries in English. You give presentations and write essays and reports in English.
