Become a Specialist in Living in a Diverse Society!
Nationality, age, gender, culture, lifestyle, and all other things make us different from others. It is not easy to understand and respect others in a diverse society. However, the founding spirit of Suzuka University, “To be honest and trustworthy,” will show us the way on this difficult issue. On the other hand, in today’s “100-year life era,” multi-stage life, including re-learning (reskilling), changing careers, and starting a business, is becoming the norm. Although Suzuka University is small in size, research, education, and student support by faculty members in a variety of specialized fields, including arts, sciences, and fine arts, are the university’s appeal. At Suzuka University, you will acquire the foundation of “the ability to continue learning,” and aim to become a specialist (Satoshi Takimoto, “I want to distribute weapons to you”), the only person who cannot be replaced after graduation.

Suzuka Junior College opened its doors in 1966 and has a tradition of over 50 years. Our aim has been to contribute to the cultural and industrial development of the local community, and as the era of VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) has come to be known, the future of modern society is uncertain and difficult to predict. The future is uncertain and difficult to predict. In these unpredictable times, the most important thing is the ability to learn. No matter how the situation changes, we can cope with the changed circumstances by learning new knowledge and skills.
