Message
My research focuses on the international mobility of young people in East Asia, especially after they graduate from college. The reasons behind a person’s decision to move across borders are numerous. I study both theoretically and empirically the motivations and mechanisms of migration from one country of birth to another in situations where people are not facing direct life threats or economic poverty.
Many foreigners live and work in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture. We are considering what challenges we will face in living with people of different cultures and values.
